WaterSense Begins Labeling Showerheads
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) WaterSense program recently began labeling showerheads that can help your household reduce its water use by more than 2,300 gallons annually. WaterSense labels plumbing fixtures that generally reduce water use by 20 percent or more while meeting minimum performance standards that are comparable to or better than other products on the market.
Whether you are replacing existing plumbing fixtures or simply looking for ways to reduce water use in your home, look for the WaterSense label on showerheads, toilets, faucets, and faucet accessories to help you identify models that save water and perform well.
